This is a highly collectible Rookwood Pottery stoneware mug featuring the historic “Potter at the Wheel” design, originally introduced in 1935 & reinterpreted in 2018 by Rookwood historian & designer George B. Hibben. Finished in a rich matte green glaze with strong relief detail.

Why this one is special:
Unlike most production mugs, this piece carries both Hibben’s impressed GBH cypher & his full hand-signed autograph on the base — a very rare combination. Hibben’s signed examples seldom appear on the market & are especially sought after by Rookwood enthusiasts.

▪︎Maker: Rookwood Pottery (Cincinnati, Ohio)
